Florida Lotto has distributed over $7.43 billion to 773 jackpot winners since 1988. Following are two tables which outline jackpot payout levels related to specific criteria. Table A itemizes jackpot payouts per number of winners. For instance, for all draws that registered exactly one jackpot winner, the average payout per winner is $13.86 million. For all draws that registered exactly two jackpot winners, the average payout per winner is $7.26 million, and so on. Table A also shows the number of draws registered per x-number of winners. Thus, 49 draws had three jackpot winners each, while 10 draws had five winners each, etc. Note that more than half [296 = 64%] of all jackpots have been won by a sole player / ticket. Table B, which lists jackpot payouts per rollover period, is below.

Table B lists jackpot payouts for each rollover period. For instance, for all draws that registered a jackpot winner after exactly one rollover, the average payout per winner is $8.46 million. For all draws that registered a jackpot winner after exactly two rollovers, the average payout per winner is $12.90 million, and so on. Table B also shows the number of winners and the number of draws pertaining to each rollover series. Thus, 232 winners claimed a jackpot in 132 draws after one rollover, while 124 winners claimed a jackpot in 67 draws after two rollovers, etc. Note that slightly less than half [207 = 45%] of all jackpots have been won without any rollovers [in back-to-back draws]. The maximum rollover period has been 11 consecutive draws [record set 02 Nov 02 → 14 Dec 02].
